A vector file — AI, EPS, SVG or PDF — with the logo as outlines. A high-resolution raster file can be redrawn by us, quoted separately. Fine detail below roughly half a millimetre does not survive striking cleanly, and we will tell you before cutting the die if something needs simplifying.

Is the die a separate cost?

Yes, once. The die is cut for your artwork and charged once, then it is kept and reused for repeat orders at no further die cost.

How is a custom order priced?

At the metal rate on the day, plus a per-piece charge for the making, plus GST. The die is charged once. You get all of it in writing before anything is cut.

How long does it take?

Die cutting and approval takes several days, then striking depends on quantity. We give you a date in writing with the quote and hold to it, and we will tell you if a date is not achievable rather than agreeing to it.

How it works

Send the artwork, the weight per coin and the quantity.
We quote it in writing: the die, the pieces, and the date.
We cut the die and send a strike proof or a render for your written approval.
We strike, finish, pack and dispatch on the agreed date.

What we can do on the face

Struck relief from a cut die — the most durable, and the sharpest.
Raised 3D relief for deity and portrait work.
Colour UV printing on a struck or plain blank.
Laser engraving for names, dates and serial numbers.

Weights and packaging

Coins are struck to an exact weight, so there is no tolerance line on a coin. Common weights are 5, 10, 20 and 50 grams. Packaging runs from a printed sleeve to a rigid box to a fitted case, priced per piece.

Priced at the metal rate on the day, with a per-piece making charge that falls as quantity rises. Tell us what you need and you get a written quote against it, with the die cost and a date we can hold to.
